This is not our normal blog post of some cool or exotic place…but likely more of these type posts will be coming! We are excited to announce to the digital world our little girl will be arriving sometime around Feb 28th! We were able to share the news that we were having a little girl with our church family and our family this week! On Wednesday Sarah made raspberry filled mini cheesecakes to share the news with our house church family. And today we had our family all at our house to share the news! One of my best friends from pharmacy school Melanie who is finishing her PhD at UNC was in town visiting her new nephew and was also able to join us!
We were actually shocked it was a girl..for some reason both of us thought boy! But we are beyond excited to buy cute girl clothes (well at least Melody is!) We are very thankful for a smooth pregnancy thus far and can’t believe it is half-way over!

Don’t worry though Grandma Hartzler has already offered to babysit for when we want to take our next trips…so blog posts of more cool and exotic places won’t stop…just might slow down a bit for now!
